INTERMARK GROUP RECOGNIZED WITH A TOP INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE AWARD
Birmingham, Ala. – A poster created for St. Vincent’s Hospital by Intermark Group has been chosen to appear in the 2007 Communication Arts Awards Annual. Intermark Group Alabama’s largest advertising agency, is the first agency in Birmingham to receive the honor of appearing in this elite annual in over 20 years.

The Design Annual displays 250 pages of the best work in posters, brochures, packaging, trademarks, corporate identity, annual reports, catalogs, letterheads and signage, and is fully indexed for reference.
Only two percent of more than 11,000 entries received each year are chosen to appear in the Communications Arts Annual, making it one of the most stringent and discerning advertising competitions in the world. The entries are judged by a panel of nine well-known creative directors, art directors and writers. The annual will be distributed in November and viewed by an audience of over 100,000.
The poster was created for St. Vincent’s Hospital to help create awareness of the importance of mammography screening, using imagery to engage the viewer. The design was a representation of how easy it can be to miss a small detail if you don’t know what you are looking for, something that is of supreme importance in mammography. The piece was created by art director, Rob Hardison and writer, Stephanie Naman, under the supervision of executive creative director, Stephen Etzine.
