Introducing Intermark Group’s 2017 Summer Interns

Summer has arrived, which means it’s time to welcome Intermark Group’s 2017 summer interns! These seven individuals will be immersed in agency life and gain invaluable experience in the field of advertising. They will be able to use their unique perspectives to create content, help develop ideas and assist with pitching to clients. Not only will the interns complete work for their designated departments, but they will also collaboratively create and present a pitch to a real-life client at the end of the summer.

Alex Buruchian, Automotive Analytics Intern

Hometown:  Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Education: Graduated from Lynn University

Fun Facts:

  1. I’ve been a drummer for the last 17 years.
  2. This is my first time in Alabama.
  3. I enjoy reading and watching documentaries.

Caroline Jager, Account Service Intern

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

Education: Graduated from Auburn University

Fun Facts:

  1. I’ve been skydiving.
  2. Nick Jonas once stole my phone at a concert and took a selfie.
  3. I’ve run a cupcake catering business called Sweet Caroline’s since I was 15.

Justin Hild, Public Relations Intern

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

Education: Senior at Auburn University

  1. I’m deaf in my left ear.
  2. I love all things basketball.
  3. I lived in Ann Arbor from 4th to 8th grade.

Elise Ott, Creative Intern (Art Direction)

  1. I’m left-handed.

  3. I have a dog named Adam.

Trinita Hill, Copywriting Intern

Lauren Runnels, Media Intern

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

Education: Graduated from Auburn University

Fun Facts:

  1. I’m afraid of heights, therefore, I do not ride roller coasters.
  2. I have a fear of my phone dying (it’s an actual fear, yes), but I don’t even use my phone that much so when the battery percentage goes down the slightest bit I freak out! It’s called “nomophobia.”
  3. I was a seat filler for the Country Music Awards for two years. I would replace famous people’s seats when they got up to get an award, and then got to meet and hang out with them after the awards show. Just a few of the country artists I met included Brantley Gilbert, Tim McGraw, The Band Perry and The Eli Young Band.

  1. I’ve lived in 8 states and on a U.S. Virgin Island — a lot of moving!
  2. I have 9 siblings.
  3. Just got back from a 7-day trip to Paris.

Ian Buchanan, Vazda Studios

Hometown: Gardendale, Alabama

Education: Senior at Wallace State

  1. I play guitar.
  2. I have 10 siblings.
  3. I drink a lot of coffee.
