Last weekend, Intermark Group attended the 59th annual AAF-Birmingham American Advertising Awards, also known as “The ADDY’s.” The event, centered around honoring creative greatness in Birmingham’s advertising industry, was hosted at Haven on Friday, February 24th.
The ADDY’s are a special event when Birmingham’s advertising community comes together to recognize the brilliant creative, and brilliant creatives, that set us apart from the rest of the advertising world. Since 1958, Birmingham advertising agencies have submitted their work to compete for creative honors. Those whose work has been deemed exceptional, are awarded the coveted I-beam trophy, the only one of its kind in the AAF, which serves as a tribute to the Steel City and a symbol of creative achievement.
Intermark Group attended this year’s event with a large group of employees who represented all of the capabilities our agency offers. The group proudly brought home lots of new hardware and thus, a cause to celebrate! We won 12 Silver Addy’s and 4 Golden ADDY’s, which is an incredible number. But the biggest highlight of the night was winning “Best of Show: Broadcast & Digital” for the Alabama Tourism Department’s “Sweet Home Alabama” campaign. See below for a complete list:
