With Easter right around the corner, the Intermark Easter Bunny made its most important stop: Jessie’s Place! Jessie’s Place is a local women’s and children’s shelter associated with the Jimmie Hale ministry.
Since 1998, it has been a safe haven for homeless women and children. Jessie’s Place offers Christ-centered support and counseling, helping them to become strong and self-sufficient.
The Interact committee here at Intermark loves to get involved with our local community. For years, we have always taken great joy in partnering with Jessie’s Place during this time. We are excited to play a part in making a special Easter for children in our community who might not otherwise have one.
This year our employees donated over 20 baskets for the children at Jessie’s Place. The baskets featured toys such as sidewalk chalk and Disney character puzzles, and they all were packed full of yummy treats! With our donations, we hope to bring many smiles to the children’s faces this year.
